CONTROLS
New Building Regulations Governing Controls
The new building regulation Part L, effective since 1st January 2005, requires
that when a heating system is installed or upgraded, new or upgraded controls are
also installed.
The purpose of the new regulations is to help reduce CO2 emissions by giving
greater control over the heating system. New controls would also enable consumers
to reduce fuel consumption and thus to reduce running cost bills.
We predominantly use Honeywell or Danfoss.
The controls are:
- Room Thermostats
- Cylinder Thermostats
- Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRV)
- Zone Valves
- Frost Thermostats
